7-Zip is an open source file archiver with the high compression ratiopredominantly for the Microsoft Windows operating system. It operateseither as a command line program or with a graphical user interface. Italso features integration with the Windows shell environment. 7-Zip isfree software, developed by Igor Pavlov and distributed under the GNULGPL license.
7-Zip 4.57 was released.
What’s new:

  • The BUG in command line version was fixed: -up3 switch
    could work incorrectly.
  • Minor improvement in ZIP compression.
    Please check at least two things in new version:
    1) Update commands and -u switch, if you use it.
    2) ZIP compression.
